Tour Details

Day 1: Arrival in Shimla

  • Your journey begins in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Arrive in Shimla by road or air, and spend your first night in Shimla to acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 2: Shimla to Reckong Peo

  • After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive from Shimla to Reckong Peo, the district headquarters of Kinnaur.
  • Enjoy the beautiful landscapes, terraced fields, and charming villages on the way.
  • Visit Kalpa, a small town known for its apple orchards and the mesmerizing view of the Kinner Kailash peak.
  • Overnight stay in Reckong Peo.

Day 3: Reckong Peo to Tabo

  • Drive to Tabo, known for its ancient monasteries and exquisite frescoes.
  • Visit the Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its rich Buddhist art and culture.
  • Overnight stay in Tabo.

Day 4: Tabo to Kaza

  • Head to Kaza, the largest town in Spiti Valley, and en route, visit Dhankar Monastery, perched on a hilltop.
  • Explore Key Monastery, one of the largest and most important monastic complexes in the region.
  • Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 5: Kaza and Surroundings

  • Spend the day exploring the surroundings of Kaza.
  • Visit the picturesque villages of Langza and Hikkim, known for their unique landscapes and ancient Buddhist culture.
  • Explore the Comik Village, the highest village in Asia.
  • Return to Kaza for the night.

Day 6: Kaza to Kibber and Tashigang

  • Drive to Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world.
  • Visit the beautiful Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary and spot Himalayan wildlife.
  • Continue to Tashigang, a remote village offering stunning views of the Spiti Valley.
  • Overnight stay in Tashigang.

Day 7: Return to Shimla

  • After breakfast, begin your journey back to Shimla.
  • Take in the breathtaking landscapes one more time as you descend from the high mountains to Shimla.
  • Arrive in Shimla, where you can explore any remaining local attractions or spend the night before your departure.
